Down duvet/quilt
We designed our down insert to be “just nice” – a fluffy duvet that feels cosy and not too hot. Best enjoyed with light aircond.
- High down to feathers ratio (down is the good stuff!)
- High fill power of 600+, so it’s lighter yet fluffier
- 100% 300TC of downproof cotton fabric (note that down proof fabric has a slight crinkling sound)
- Cleverly designed with our signature smart labels
- 4 secure loops at the side to tie the duvet cover securely
- 2 additional loops at the top and bottom centre of the duvet to keep it in place. Pair with our duvet covers which have ties in the centre
- Box design for even down distribution
- Double-stitched with piping for durability
- Standard down: 150gsm. Recommended temp = 18-23°C. Great if you want a poofy cloud-like feel
- Lightweight down: 110gsm. Recommended temp = 23-27°C. About 2/3 the filling of a standard down – similar feeling to the standard down, but less thick
- Cotton duvet: 300gsm. A denser duvet, although still relatively light. Recommended temp = 22-27°C. Gives a secure feeling – extremely breathable
- Alternative down duvet: 200gsm. Recommended temp = 18-23°C. Mimics the feel of down, but at a much lower price point. Slightly less breathable than the other two options, but still an excellent duvet due to its cotton casing
- Super King: 259cm x 229cm /102 inches x 91 inches
- King: 239cm x 209cm / 94 inches x 83 inches
- Queen 209cm x 209cm / 83 inches x 83 inches
- Single/Super Single: 149cm × 209cm / 59 inches x 83 inches
*Duvet covers and inserts do not have to fit perfectly. A variation of 5-10cm is usually acceptable by most individuals
- You do not need to wash your duvet regularly as it is protected by the duvet cover
- Spot cleaning is recommended for small stains with mild soap and water. You should dry-clean your duvet only if absolutely necessary as it will shorten the lifespan of the duvet
- Do not bleach. Fluff regularly for even fill distribution
- Throw into dryer, dry, if you need to an instant fluffing of your duvet

That’s why we carefully designed chose just the perfect blend of duck down and feathers (not goose!) to get a puffier duvet without it getting too hot.
A high percentage of down to provide you with the luxurious fluffy feeling, and a small percentage of feathers to make sure it isn’t too hot and you don’t end off kicking the duvet away in the middle of the night!

Just like the down-to-feather ratio, we used down with the optimal fill power as well. The higher the fill power, the fluffier but warmer the duvet insert will be. We picked a high fill power of 600+ (but not too high) for our carefully designed Kapas Living duvet down insert.
What does it mean? You get a duvet insert that is suitable for our warm climate and can be enjoyed with light aircond without sacrificing comfort and fluffiness!
Breathability at its best
Luxurious cotton sateen casing
Our cotton sateen casing is specially treated to be down proof. You may notice a slight rustling feel to it, but it is still soft and comfortable and most importantly, it ensures that no feathers escape from the fabric and you get to enjoy your duvet for years to come!
Over time, the rustling will reduce gradually and your down will get softer and softer.
